New York September 10th, 2005 – KRASNER GALLERY is pleased to present
On The Street, a performance piece and fine art exhibition showcasing the recent work of Jenny Krasner.

Jenny Krasner’s Autobiographical mixed-media compositions contain a powerful, and often comical, contemporary message. Whether it is internet dating, road trips gone awry, the contents of a passionate love letter disclosed or political satire, the artwork draws on the outrageous, humorous and sometimes dark facets of everyday life experiences, combining digital photography, bought and found objects and handwritten stories.

Jenny Krasner is Krasner Gallery’s Director, fine art and performance artist. She earned her B.F.A. degree from Oxford University, The Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, England and her M.F.A. degree from Columbia University. She has exhibited at numerous Museums and Galleries including The Bronx Museum, The Jersey City Museum, NUTUREart, Ian Peck Gallery, The American Academy in Rome, Johnson + Johnson World Headquarters and The Alliance Francaise. She has received Fellowships and Grants from The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, The Seaside Institute, Oxford University, Hamilton College and The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
