Nurturing the New ‘05, a spring gala, art exhibit and sale, will be hosted by Spike Gallery at 547 West 20th Street in Chelsea, on Monday, June 6 from 6-9 PM. Taking place in Spike Gallery's beautiful 3,000 square foot Chelsea space, the gala will feature Seminal artist Louise Bourgeois who is donating “The Olive Branch”, a 2004 lithograph, for auction; and Jenny Krasner  is donating "China Model", a 2004 silver gelatin print. Acclaimed actress Isabella Rossellini and award winning filmmaker Joshua Marston (Maria Full of Grace, 2004) also lend their support as honorary benefit chairs. Info at:   www.nurtureart.org
